Your Water Back Office. Your Name on the Plan.

You design buildings — the DWA hydraulics are mandatory, but they are not your business. We take on the water-specific compliance and sign off on it under professional liability: as a silent partner in the background or as a visible specialist planner. Either way, you keep the client relationship.

Residential development — the water-law component is part of every building application

The building application won't wait for the hydraulics.

Every construction project with an infiltration system needs the water-law component: infiltration verification, water balance, and where applicable an emissions assessment. For your firm, this is a recurring specialist task — norm-intensive, liability-relevant, and it doesn't move your design forward one bit. The alternatives are all unsatisfactory:

  • Calculating it yourself means: keeping the DWA code of practice on hand, keeping the sizing up to date — and responsibility for the hydraulics rests with you.

  • Handing it to a large firm means: your small commission is a low priority there, and a second planning office suddenly stands right next to your client relationship.

  • Letting it sit means: the authority follows up, the building application is delayed, and the client comes back to you with questions.

There is a fourth way.

You choose how visible we are.

Model A

Silent Partner (White Label)

We deliver the calculation, plans and statement of conformity with the applied standard — you submit under your name. Your letterhead, your client relationship, our figures behind it. We answer follow-up queries from the water authority in the background and supply you with the wording.

Model B

Visible Specialist Planner

We appear as the specialist water planner on the project: signed off under professional liability with registration in the Ingenieurkammer-Bau NRW, direct communication with the water authority, while your firm remains the generalist and the client's point of contact.

In both models: the hydraulic planning is an insured engineering service — responsibility for the sizing rests with us, not with your firm.

Four things you can hand off.

The result: your building application goes through without a follow-up-request loop — under your name.

Infiltration verifications and water balances

Per DWA-A 138-1 and DWA-M 102-4 — ready for submission, with a statement of conformity with the applied standard and a source reference for every design parameter.

Sizing checks and plausibility reviews

By email or phone — before anything reaches the authority that ends up being queried.

Water authority communication

Entirely in the background on request: draft responses under your name, resubmissions, coordination of investigations required by the authority (e.g. infiltration test, supplementary reports).

Rainwater harvesting, greywater, near-natural systems

When the client wants more than the mandatory minimum, we supply the specialist planning for it.

Retainer or per project — you choose.

Monthly availability for your water planning

Per-project engagement

  • Plausibility review of an existing verification€600
  • Infiltration verification (concept)from €700
  • Infiltration verification (full planning)from €1.500

A binding fixed-price offer within 24 hours — so you can go into your fee calculation with a firm number.

Prices plus statutory VAT. Services provided in Germany (NRW).

For firms with regular demand, the retainer pays off from the second case per quarter — we tell you honestly which model is more economical for your volume.

Test us on a real case.

You don't have to entrust us with your project to put us to the test. Send us a verification you're unsure about — calculated yourself or by a third party. For €600 we review it against DWA-A 138-1 and the water authority's review practice and deliver a written review memo from a registered engineer. You see how we work on a real case — and you stay in control.

Request a plausibility review

How a case runs.

1

Hand over the documents

Site plan, geotechnical report, current design stage. If something is missing, we tell you the same day.

2

Fixed price within 24 hours

Scope, deliverables, turnaround time from complete documents, one number for your calculation.

3

Delivery into your project

Standard cases often within a few working days from complete documents — the deadline is stated bindingly in the quote: calculation dossier, plans (DWG + PDF), statement of conformity with the applied standard — in the white-label model, ready for your letterhead.

What architecture firms ask us.

Will my client find out that we outsource the water planning?

Only if you want them to. In the white-label model we work entirely in the background: you submit under your name, and we deliver the calculation, plans and draft responses for authority queries to you. The client relationship remains undivided with your firm.

Who bears responsibility for the sizing?

We do. The hydraulic planning is an insured engineering service — signed off under professional liability by Alvaro Burgos Cifuentes, M.Sc., registered member of the Ingenieurkammer-Bau NRW (Nr. 754661), with professional indemnity insurance for the planning service. This applies in both collaboration models. Insurance details: see the About page and legal notice.

How quickly do I get an assessment of whether a project is critical?

Within the 24-hour response time — guaranteed under the retainer, and as a rule just as fast on a per-project basis. A brief sizing check by email or phone often clarifies within minutes whether a site is a standard case or requires additional effort.

What does the collaboration cost?

Per project: infiltration verifications from €700 (concept) or from €1.500 (full planning), plausibility review €600 — each at a fixed price, offer within 24 hours. For regular demand: retainer from €600/month with 4–6 available hours and a guaranteed response time.

Do you also work outside the Niederrhein region?

Our focus is the Niederrhein corridor and NRW as a whole; we regularly carry out projects in the Rhine corridor (Cologne, Düsseldorf, Bonn). Since the collaboration runs largely digitally (documents, calculation, plans), the location of your firm is rarely the limiting factor.
