The process in detail

Fixed price: one figure, in writing, before you commission.

Three steps to submission.

  1. Free of charge

    Initial consultation

30 minutes by video call, free of charge. We clarify your project, the applicable standards, the responsible water authority — and which documents you are still missing.

  2. In writing

    Fixed-price quote

Promptly after the initial consultation you receive our fixed-price quote — or the specific question about what's still needed for it. In writing: scope of services, deliverables, turnaround time from complete documentation, one figure — no hidden costs.

  3. Binding

    Planning & handover

Review-ready documents with a statement of conformity with the applied standard, signed under professional responsibility — ready to submit directly to the authority. On request, we continue to support the procedure: follow-up questions, supplementary submissions, and coordination of any required investigations.

Pricing logic

What determines the price.

Every fixed price has two dials: the conditions of your property — and the number of codes of practice your project has to be verified against.

01

One code, one verification

The base price covers the standard case under the core code. For an infiltration verification that is the design to DWA-A 138-1 — as a concept from €700 net (from €833 incl. VAT).

02

Several codes, larger scope

If your project triggers further requirements — say, a discharge into a watercourse with an emission verification to DWA-A 102-2, or a water balance to DWA-M 102-4 — each code adds its own verification. The scope grows, and every verification appears as its own line in the quote. For municipal or commercial projects, further codes often come into play — for example the dynamic cost-comparison method of DWA-M 816 or the DWA-M 820 series on the quality and procurement of engineering services.

03

Conditions of the property

Soil permeability (kf-value), groundwater proximity, water protection zones, surface pollution load: they turn a standard case into a special one — with more review and verification effort.

Which codes and factors apply to your property is what we clarify in the free initial consultation — after that you know price and deadline, bindingly. External services (e.g. an infiltration test (field methods to DWA-A 138-1, Annex A) or laboratory determination to DIN 18130-1, a geotechnical report) are shown separately — no hidden items.

Net prices plus 19% VAT; bracketed figures incl. VAT for private clients.

Price tiers and price factors in detail
For architecture firms & landscaping firms · Lower Rhine & NRW

You choose how visible we are.

Architecture firm or landscaping firm: you run the project and the client relationship — we deliver the water planning. How visible we are is your decision.

Model A

Silent partner (white label)

We deliver the sizing, plans, permit documents and the statement of conformity with the applied standard — you submit under your name. Your letterhead, your client relationship, our figures behind it. We answer the water authority’s follow-up queries in the background and supply you with the wording. The design itself always carries the responsible engineer’s signature and stamp.

Model B

Visible specialist planner

We appear to the client and the authority as the specialist water planner: signed off under professional responsibility with registration in the Ingenieurkammer-Bau NRW, direct communication with the water authority. Your firm remains the generalist and the client’s point of contact; your landscaping business remains the one that builds and holds the client. A registered specialist on the team is a selling point, not a flaw.

In both models: the water planning is an insured engineering service — responsibility for the sizing rests with us, not with your firm or business.
